Self Catering
The Stables at Manor Farm are situated between the farmhouse and the farmyard on our family run organic beef and arable farm. The Stables look out across fields (with cows in summer) trees and barns. The Stables can accommodate up to six in three en suite bedrooms, we offer a discount for low occupancy - please see our tariffs page.
Self catering shouldn't be hard work so we provide teas, coffees, sugar, and some fresh milk. Also all the bed linen and towels, dishwasher tabs/washing up liquid that you will need is provided so you won't need to pack too much. If you fancy a night in but a night off - we also offer great quality frozen meals and for a night out we can usually arrange trusted (and qualified) baby sitters.
Bedroom 1 – double bed en suite shower room, freeview TV/DVD.
Bedroom 2 – twin beds, en suite bathroom with shower above, freeview TV DVD.
Bedroom 3 – twin beds with large en suite shower room, freeview TV/DVD.
The large open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area has open beams, oak floor, comfy sofas and large flat screen TV, Wifi, ipod dock and speakers. The kitchen area has a dishwasher,double oven fridge, and microwave. Clothes washing and drying facilities and a large freezer are also available.
Outside there is a private area of lawn and a gravel terrace with garden furniture and plenty of parking. Locked bike shed and boot wash available.
- All bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price.
- Short breaks available all year round, normally Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday but we are flexible about start days – please ask. Minimum stay for self catering is 2 nights. We can supply breakfast provisions if it helps – at a small cost.
- To make self catering easier we provide tea, coffee, sugar, and dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid etc
- Eating out – we are spoilt for choice with great pubs close by, the nearest is The Swan at Wilton (www.theswanwilton.co.uk) which serves great food and a warm welcome. In Marlborough there is a wide choice of restaurants, bars, etc as well as a great local Indian and a Michelin starred restaurant. If you don't want to go out but want a break from cooking we keep a range of high quality frozen meals in stock.
- Accessibility – all the rooms are on the ground floor, there are two steps up from the parking area (can provide ramp) and one step down in to the double bedroom. If you need more information please ask.
- Children are welcome but as we are a working farm they must be supervised at all times and may not be suitable for very small children.
- Dogs strictly by prior arrangement. We have our own dogs and livestock on the farm.
