If for any reason you have to cancel at any time during the 6 week period before the arrival date, you will be liable for the booking in full, unless we are able to re-let the property.
If we succeed in re-letting then we will refund to you any such rentals received, less your deposit, which is non-refundable.
If you have to cancel your holiday prior to 6 weeks before the arrival date you would simply lose your deposit. We recommend you take out cancellation insurance.
Note: To enable you to book with confidence during the Covid 19 pandemic all bookings can be moved to new dates if we are in lockdown.
Cleaning and laundry
We want you to be confident that we are following best practice to clean the cottages between stays. We have always prided ourselves in cleaning the properties to a very high standard between guests and have been awarded 100% for our cleaning following our Visit England inspections for the past few years. In addition to our normal cleaning we will be undertaking enhanced cleaning from now on. This will follow current Government guidance once it is available.
Bathrooms - thorough cleaning of all surfaces with appropriate cleaning products followed by a second clean using anti-viral product. Bathroom floors will be cleaned with anti viral product.
Kitchen - following our usual thorough cleaning procedure all areas and will be wiped down with anti viral product.
High touch areas - such as door handles, TV remote controls, keys etc will be cleaned before cleaners leave the property.
Laundry - all pillows, mattresses, and duvets will have protectors under the bed linen. These will be washed between between each stay. All laundry is done in house at appropriate temperatures according to best practice guidance. Towels and bath mats will be washed at high temperatures.
Anit-bac hand wash will be provided along with wipes and cleaning products so that you can keep the cottage clean during your stay.
